St Hugh of Lincoln is a successful, popular maintained primary school serving a diverse community in Trafford. We are a caring Roman Catholic school (66% of pupils baptised Catholic) rooted in the Diocese of Salford and united by our simple values: to be kind, to have a strong sense of justice and to serve those in need. We are looking for an inspirational Early Years Teacher to join our dedicated team and help lead outstanding learning in our Reception and Nursery provision.
Plan and deliver a rich, well-designed Early Years curriculum that supports
strong outcomes in Communication & Language, Literacy and early mathematics
Use robust observation and assessment to identify next steps and personalise
Learning so every pupil makes good progress
Create an enabling learning environment, indoors and outdoors, that stimulates curiosity and sustained shared thinking
Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants and external agencies to
support pupils with SEND and those with additional needs
Promote our school values and contribute to the wider life of the school, including parent engagement, extracurricular activities and community events
The Governors invite applications from suitably qualified, experienced teachers to teach in Nursery from January 2027. The post is for 2 terms ending at the end of July 2027.
