Contract Salary: £29,542 - £32,046 (Grade E)

We're looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and well-organised individual to join our Housing Support Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Council's housing regeneration programme and helping residents affected by regeneration activity to secure suitable alternative accommodation. Working closely with the Housing Support Team Leader, you will support residents through what can often be complex housing situations, providing advice, guidance and practical support throughout their rehousing journey.

The role also involves supporting with the delivery of the private sector lettings scheme on behalf of the Council. You will work with a range of households, including vulnerable residents, to help them access and sustain safe, secure and stable accommodation.

We are looking for someone with experience of working directly with people, particularly those who may be facing challenging or complex housing circumstances. You will be able to build positive relationships, communicate effectively and work sensitively with residents, partner agencies and landlords to achieve the best possible outcomes.
