We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, dynamic, and experienced School Business Manager to include - Finance, Human Resources, Examinations, Estate Management and Whole School Administration from January 2026.

The successful candidate in this exciting role will:

  • Work closely with the Headteacher and Governing Body
  • Oversee the non-teaching and operational functions of the school, ensuring resources are deployed effectively to support the best possible educational outcomes for our pupils.
  • Responsible for the Direct Management of Examinations

The Pendlebury Centre is a specialist SEMH Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) committed to supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Guided by our mission: Believe In Your Future, we provide a nurturing, consistent educational environment that promotes emotional wellbeing, academic progress, and personal development.

We work with students from a wide range of backgrounds, many of whom have experienced significant barriers to education. These may include prolonged gaps in learning, disengagement from school, breakdowns in relationships, and common contributors to school refusal including EBSA. Our approach is rooted in ambition, empathy, understanding, and high expectations- ensuring every student feels seen, supported, and empowered.
