Class Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing, and committed Early Years Class Teacher to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner who is passionate about providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for our youngest pupils.

The Purpose of the role:

The successful candidate will create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to achieve their full potential.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Establish high expectations for achievement, behaviour and attendance.
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress effectively and use assessment information to inform future teaching.
• Work closely with the SENDCo and other professionals to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
• Adapt teaching approaches and resources to ensure pupils with additional needs can access learning and achieve success.
• Build positive and productive relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities, events and enrichment opportunities.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
• Is committed to inclusion, equality and raising standards.
• Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to the school community.
• Is enthusiastic, resilient and committed to making a difference in children's lives.
