Salary: T1 T6 - £32,916 - £45,352

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic Nursery Class Teacher to join our happy, inclusive and supportive school community. This is fixed term in the first instance, due to our existing post holder moving jobs, but will be advertised as a permanent role later in the year.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to play a key role in providing high-quality early years education, ensuring our youngest children develop the skills, confidence and curiosity they need to thrive.

The Orchards Nursery School is part of The Orchards Federation, a group of three schools working closely together for the benefit of all our pupils, the other members of the Federation are Green Fold School and Cherry Tree Primary School.

We are looking for an individual who:

• Is an excellent classroom practitioner with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Has a passion for early childhood development and creating engaging, stimulating learning experiences through play.
• Has a thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum, including assessment, observation and planning for progression.
• Can lead and motivate a team
• Builds strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure effective partnerships
