Post Title: Enquiry Referral/Support Services Officer

Team: Mental Health Services

The Bury Mental Health Service is a multi-disciplinary service made up of managers, community mental health nurses, mental health social workers (some qualified as AMHPs), occupational therapists, community support workers, admin support, secondary care psychological therapies and Consultant Psychiatrists who work with the team.

As an Enquiry Referral Officer, you will be acting as the first point of contact for members of the public and other professionals making both general enquiries and referrals to the Mental Health Team.  To undertake all related admin, data inputting and word processing duties including minute taking for the team.

You will have experience providing administrative support in a busy environment, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to process information accurately when working under pressure.

This role is based at Humphrey House, Angouleme Way, Bury, BL9 0EQ.  (Please note the team are moving to 3 Knowsley Place, Bury, BL9 0EJ approx December 2024).

Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week.  Working during the Mental Health Service office hours 9am to 5pm.
