Role Overview:
We are looking for an individual with a passion for improving outcomes for all children and young people of the borough; to support the statutory work of the School Admissions Team, in relation to school admissions, education provision and placing vulnerable groups.
The post holder will work closely with other Council Services, schools and external agencies to ensure that children and young people in Oldham are allocated a suitable school place

You will need to possess excellent written, verbal and technological skills together with advanced organisational skills to ensure that deadlines required by statutory processes are met. You will form part of a close-knit busy team whilst at all times maintaining the ability to work on your own initiative. You will need to be able to communicate with varied audiences and have good negotiating skills.
