Working Pattern: Full time and part time roles available Salary: Career graded Band 3-4 starting Salary Band 3 £25,989 (potential for a permanent career graded role based on performance) Working Arrangement: Office based Fixed Term End Date: 6 months from start date Interview Date/Type: W/C 9th March Full time and Part time positions available About the role We have several exciting opportunities for experienced customer service professionals to join our fast-paced, office-based Customer Contact Centre. (We are not currently recruiting apprentices.) This is a front-line role predominantly handling high volumes of inbound calls, with some emails and social media enquiries. You will confidently signpost customers and resolve complex queries at the first point of contact across a range of Council services, including Council Tax, Benefits, Planning, Elections, Adult Social Services, Blue Badge and Libraries About You Additional Information This advert may close early if we receive a high number of applications, so please apply as soon as possible. Fluent spoken English is essential for this role, including the ability to clearly understand customers and respond accurately at the first point of contact. You’ll be empathetic, enthusiastic, and able to work well under pressure, with a positive, can-do attitude.
