Together, we are Greater Manchester

Building a thriving city region where everyone can live a good life.

As the national NHS Reforms unfold, and there are continued pressures on our public services, the working lives of our people will look different moving forward. In response, we are developing a range of pathways to support staff through the GM Workforce Transition Hub, including career support, wellbeing provision, and skills development to support onward next steps.

The Workforce Transition Hub aims to connect people to the opportunities across the Greater Manchester footprint – whether this is to remain in employment across our public service or wider industry – or to navigate next steps into new roles and careers.

There is a commitment to do this well – find better ways of connecting people with great skills and expertise into great work across Greater Manchester, taking an inclusive and compassionate approach to how we look after our people.

Read our vision for Greater Manchester from now to 2035.

Below you will find links and resources that will help you on this journey, and over the coming months, we will continue to develop ways that we can better connect you to the opportunities across our city region as they emerge.
